116th NAACP National Convention

NAACP Henry County showed up and showed out at the 116th NAACP National Convention!  From powerful workshops to inspiring speakers, this was more than a convention—it was a transformational experience! We are living in times that demand action. The theme The Fierce Urgency of Now is so true. Now is the time for us to continue to fight for our rights. 

We connected with fellow freedom fighters from all over the country and especially loved repping Georgia alongside our state family! Congratulations to Attorney Gerald Griggs and the Georgia State Conference on winning third place in the Thalheimer Award.

We’re bringing back fresh ideas, a renewed energy, commitment and a whole lot of purpose. The movement is alive and well—#NAACP
